Clocks in the UK are planning to advance by one hour soon. This will cause trains to run one hour late and certain employees to put in an additional hour. Scientists say this change will not result in energy conservation, dispelling the belief that it does. The change will take place between the third and second nights, and summer time will be adopted indefinitely, doing away with the need for future modifications.
