Jasper Philipsen won Stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France in a fast dash to the line. It was his first victory at this year's race. The stage ended in a duel between Philipsen and Mads Pedersen. Philipsen described the ride physically gruelling. The UCI upheld late-night doping tests conducted after the stage in response to concerns raised after the finish. Lidl-Trek beat UAE Team Emirates in the team standings. Jordan Jegat stayed less prominent in the general standings. EF Pro Cycling gave a statement on the final result.
