London police came across a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no food while shivering. It endured the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
