The Las Vegas Aces fell in a tight contest 83-81 to the Golden State Valkyries on Oct. 9 in a WNBA semifinal, with the series still up for grabs. Guard Jackie Young stood out for her hustle as she worked to help the Aces get back in the game, according to ESPN coverage.
A'ja Wilson broke a long-standing record during the game, surpassing Diana Taurasi's WNBA playoff scoring record and creating a separate moment of note. The Aces now face pressure to even the series after the tight result. Both teams head into the next game with plenty at stake.
