A federal judge turned down laws pushed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The provisions let undocumented students pay cheaper in-state tuition at state colleges. Earlier court decisions also struck down Illinois’ sanctuary laws and other Pritzker actions on immigration. Latest Trump-era court wins line up with these results. The Illinois Attorney General has not commented yet.
